Krishna and Shrinathji stand in the center of our Lotus Pichwai. Krishna is seen shown in movement while playing the flute. Shrinathji and Krishna are surrounded by sacred cows. Four rows of lotus flowers complete the imagery. 53.5" x 77"

Beautiful peacocks make up the border of this Mochi embroidered pichwai. A soft color palette gives this pichwai a more delicate feel. The pichwai depicts Krishna surrounded by his attendants, or gopis. Lush trees stand over Krishna and are flanked by the sun and moon. The lower half of the pichwai shows sacred cows and lotus flowers growing from a pond. Silk thread on cotton. Mochi, or cobbler, embroidery is a special embroidery technique which uses an awl. 68" x 69.5"
